Jianzhong Qu, Principal

Mr. Qu has eight years of experience in private equity investment, telecommunications, and technology.

Mr. Qu joined CSV in 2005. He is responsible for identification, analysis, due diligence and management of investments in the technology, media, retail, services, and telecommunications-related sectors across China.

Prior to CSV, Mr. Qu worked in the Engineering Department of the Shanghai Posts and Telecommunications Administration. As a project engineer, his was deeply involved in Shanghai’s telecommunications infrastructure development. Major projects accomplished included:

(1) Construction of Shanghai Chongming Submarine Optic-fibre Cable Station, a telecommunication terminal connecting approximately 30 European and North American countries;

(2) Deployment of cellular base stations for Shanghai Mobile’s GSM1800 network.

A native of Shanghai, Mr. Qu received a master degree from the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology and a bachelor degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Mr. Qu currently sits on the board of Imagine Games and Realton.
